Brooklyn

I still remember Brooklyn’s Mom tearfully sitting across from my desk for an inital IVF consultation.

"Dr. Ho, I’ll do anything you tell me to. We have to have a baby."
The couple had failed a couple cycles of IUI in the past. After routine infertility work-up, we came to a concusion that Mom has oligo-ovulation. Dad has slightly slow motility sperms on semen analysis: he loves dirt bike riding. We then proceeded with first cycle of IVF. Mom had a poor responsive cycle, we barely got 3 oocytes. The transfer of one embyo was unremarkable but the couple did not get pregnant.

During a "quarterback conference", I recommendeded that Dad should take Fertilemax, and Mom be placed on Fertinelle. Fertimax and Fertinelle are two special supplements formulated by myself and two other fertility specialists. Men who used Ferimax for two months demonstrated improvement in sperm quality as well as sexual stamina. Likewise, we observe that Fertinelle helps women to attain heigher number of eggs retrieved during IVF with much better  quality.

On the second trial, the number of eggs retrieved from Mom decisively double, and we ended up transfering two grade 1 blastocysts.

Brooklyn was born 9 months later.

Guess what? At 18 months of age, Brooklyn is expecting either a brother or a sister that Mom and Dad conceived spontaneously! The family picture was taken during Mom’s pretanal visit.
